District Correspondent (Netrokona): An Iftar and prayer mahfil was organized by the Upazila Press Club in Madan, Netrokona, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The event was held on Wednesday (March 11) in the afternoon at the Upazila Press Club auditorium. The program was presided over by Press Club President Al-Mahbub (Al-Amin), while General Secretary Jakir Hossain Talukdar Ujjal conducted the event.
Among those present were Upazila BNP President Nurul Alam Talukdar, General Secretary and former Upazila Chairman Rafiqul Islam Akand, BNP Advisor Mirza Ramzan Ali, Senior Vice President and Kaitail Union Parishad Chairman Abu Taher Azad, Organizing Secretary Fazle Elahi Tuton, Nayeb-e-Ameer of Upazila Jamaat Riaz Uddin Idris Master, former Hefazat Vice Chairman Mufti Anwar Hossain, Municipal BNP General Secretary Abdul Kadir, Upazila Jubo Dal General Secretary Humayun Kabir, Dewan Sanjar, and business leader Mahmudur Rahman Mithu.
Teachers’ leaders, journalists, freedom fighters, and various social and political figures were also present at the event.
