A large Iftar and prayer gathering was organized in Mirzapur Upazila of under the initiative of , General Secretary of the Upazila unit of (BNP). The event took place on Wednesday, March 11, at 4:00 PM at his residence, with the participation of party leaders and activists from Banail, Anaitara, Bhadgram, Warshi, and Bhaora unions.
Around 600 to 700 fasting people attended the gathering. Before Iftar, a special prayer was offered seeking forgiveness and eternal peace for the souls of the late former President and former Prime Minister .
In his speech, he said,
"Although I am not an elected representative of this area, I want to continue moving forward with my workers and supporters as I have done in the past. I stood by everyone during difficult times for the party, and I will continue to stand by everyone in the future, InshaAllah."
Among those present were former chairman of Fatepur Union , BNP Upazila Vice President , , Upazila BNP Education Affairs Secretary , Fisheries Affairs Secretary , BNP member , , Jamurki Union BNP General Secretary , former President of Anaitara Union BNP , former Secretary , former General Secretary of Mohra Union BNP , Joint Convener of Upazila Jubo Dal , and Member Secretary of Upazila Chhatra Dal , along with leaders from BNP, Jubo Dal, and Chhatra Dal from different unions.
The presence of leaders, activists, and local residents from various levels was clearly noticeable. The Iftar and prayer gathering concluded peacefully in a solemn and religious atmosphere.
